LightSpeed™ Hybrid Algorithms Policy
Last updated: November 10, 2025
Purpose. This policy sets latency, synchronization, and safety rules for BTCX’s low‑latency SI·AI execution layer. It favors correctness and user safety over speed when conditions degrade.
Design Goals
- Low latency with verified inputs; deterministic fallbacks when feeds degrade.
- Consistent global state via multi‑chain anchoring and reproducible roots.
- Resilience: prefer “no trade” to unsafe trade; fast rollback.
- Future‑proofing: hash‑anchored states and post‑quantum‑ready posture.
Hybrid Coordination
- Bitcoin: durable, timestamped snapshots.
- Ethereum: programmable governance (allowlists, risk knobs, pause).
- Solana: fast state heartbeats and high‑frequency governance rituals.
Latency & Degradation
- Advice‑only if market‑data age > 2s in fast modes; otherwise simulate.
- Target < 300 ms round‑trip for supported venues; else fall back.
- Abort on signature mismatch or rule violations; alert operators.
Execution & Risk
- Autonomous orders: limit/IOC only; market orders require confirmation unless explicitly whitelisted.
- Position sizing bounded by per‑trade % risk and daily stop; volatility‑adjusted sizing preferred.
- Include fees and conservative slippage estimates; block if thresholds exceed caps.
Security & PQ Posture
- Hot/cold key separation; hardware‑backed signing for production.
- PQ‑ready: hash‑anchored states today; optional parallel PQ signatures in metadata.
